Ok, as a hair stylist it is so hard for me not to let my children out of the house with at least their hair brushed and the girls hair done up. Well, since I support the school NOT allowing the kids to wear their Halloween costumes to school, I had to support "Crazy hair day". So enjoy the pictures, I will look back on this someday and laugh too I know that.

Our little Musician
We just attended Emmalee's first Band Concert last week. I thought she was going to pop from excitement before the concert. She has 63 6th grade band members in 1 class. Wow, that is alot! They played 6 songs. They all did very well. They now are practicing for their Christmas Concert on December 4th. This is Emmalee's 2nd year playing the flute. In the picture on the right, she is the 2nd girl from the right front. Way to go Emmalee!!!!
He's a Winner!
Just another proud moment as a mom.
The 2 younger kid's Elementary school was having a fundraiser for the school PTA. They held a spell-a-thon. Which I really liked because I didn't feel like I had to buy expensive wrapping paper, yucky candy, or useless magazines. It was something that would help the kids educationally. Well, the 3-5 graders could win an IPod shuffle for the highest money raiser. Damian wanted to win it badly. He had to find people to pledge him on his spelling test. He had 40 words to spell correctly. He asked grandparents, Aunts & Uncles and of course his parents. Damian did get all 40 spelled correctly but had to wait a week to see how much each child brought in for pledges. Not only did Damian have the highest amount for his class or grade, but he ended up raising the most out of the whole school. $160!!! (thanks to Grandpa Jerry). Damian won the Ipod shuffle. I also was so proud of Aubrey. The kindergartners were given 6 words to spell and she got all 6 right as well. She was the only one out of her class to get all 6 right. We have some great spellers in our home. Maybe I should have them write these blogs for me.
Ist Day of School August 11, 2008
Here are some pictures of the first day of school- August 11, 2008

I know this was a few months ago but since I am just starting my blog I wanted to back track and catch you up on a few things in our home. This was the first day of school for all 3 kids. I made Steven take the day off work so we could "Go Out". I was a mess. I cried more than the kindergarten kids. I need to share a sweet story as to why I cried so much. I took Aubrey into her classroom and noticed this little fraile girl just sobbing because her parents dropped her off and had left. I felt so sad for her that I started to cry with her. Then I looked up and my little Aubrey had walked up to her and said, "Hi, I am Aubrey and I am going to be your friend." I about starting sobbing with sound. I had to leave the classroom. I kissed Aubrey and we exited the classroom.
Emmalee started 6th grade- Yes- she is in Middle school and was so brave that day. I remember how nervous I was starting Middle school. Damian started 4th grade ( I hated 4th grade) and Aubrey Kindergarten.
Yes, it is quiet in the house while they are at school and it actually stays clean for about 6 hours each day.
Women's Conference
It has become a tradition that myself, my sister, my mom, and a couple close friends from here go to Women's Conference in Utah for 4 days. We fill our time with as much conference, temple, shopping, and late night talking that we can in those 4 days. It is the best thing we can each do for ourselves to refresh ourselves and start new as mothers, wives and daughters of God. I absolutely love it. I encourage any woman to attend if you get the chance. It is not easy leaving your family behind, but they eat out every night and survive somehow without us. It sure is a great spiritual boost and friendship bonding experience. These are a couple of pictures from our trip this last May.

Happy Birthday Aubrey!
It is hard to believe that 6 years ago Aubrey was born.
Happy 6th Birthday Aubrey. Your family loves you.
I made it!
I have finally joined the blogger club. I have enjoyed viewing friends and family member's blogs and catching up on what is happening in their lives. I have finally gotten the confidence to try to make my own. My cousin told me a couple years ago how easy it was. Well, Dara it has only taken me this long to figure it out. So tell me what you think?
